noah (6) LOVES the natural history museum and chess, and is probably smarter than me.
noah: (on the way to the natural history museum) "Guys- if there was a pizza museum i'd SO be there."
luke (4) will out of the blue say 'mommy i love you' and loves to snuggle with me when i'm in bed.
luke lives and breathes for treats... i.e. anything with sugar.
noah asks for me to put them to bed every night instead of dad. it melts my heart every time.
luke cries whenever noah cries.
they go in phases as far as what they are into...usually the rotation involves blocks/legos; cowboy dress-up; sword fighting; playing with their aircraft carrier, chevron cars, or insanely huge collection of matchbox cars/trucks/other vehicles.
the other day when they were playing with their chevron cars, i overheard noah (the police car) ask luke if he was drunk.
luke loves to say 'butt'. example: me- "lukey i love you." him- "i love your butt."
noah is starting to enjoy reading more; however trying to get him to do his homework is a nightmare.
luke's diet consists of: bagels with cream cheese, honey nut cheerios, vanilla milk, string cheese, and eggos. (and any treat.) my only consolation is that noah used to be this picky too but has branched out in his later years.
noah's favorite tv shows are the Simpsons and Arthur. (yes- i feel sort of guilty about the first one.)
luke is great at entertaining himself with his various toy vehicles and makes the coolest sound effects ever.
noah is finally starting to grasp that the word is 'nevermind', not 'remembermind'.

i'm glad i have kids that are so sweet, funny & entertaining.
it sort of makes up for all the times they drive me insane.
We are so excited to be there with you in a few weeks. We really miss those cuties!
